Forge Your Fable is a locally run visual novel powered by an AI model that lives entirely on your device. No cloud. No data collection. Just you and a story shaped by your choices.

Because the AI processes everything in real time, you may experience a short wait between dialogue moments. Crashes can occasionally occur due to complex output parsing—but we’re working to improve stability.

Install instructions


  • Download the Game:

    • Download the .zip file containing Forge Your Fable


  • Download the AI Model:

    • Separately download the AI model file provided 


  • Extract the Game:

    • Right-click the downloaded .zip file for the game and select Extract All (or use your preferred extraction tool).

    • Choose a destination where you'd like the game to be installed.

  • Locate the Model Folder:

    • Open the extracted game folder.

    • Navigate to:
      ForgeYourFable_Data\Plugins\x86_64\models
      (Tip: This is inside the main game folder. Start from where you unzipped the game.)

  • Install the AI Model:

    • Place the downloaded AI model file into the models folder from step 4.

    • Make sure the model file is not zipped or nested inside another folder.

  • Run the Game:

    • Return to the main game folder.

    • Launch the game by double-clicking ForgeYourFable.exe.
